Staying True to My Own Brand – Janus in Transition

For those who know me best, you know I tend to be involved in many things.  Now is no exception.

For those of you who do not know me, after 30 years in Business, Management, Real Estate and Securities, I founded my coaching practice to help individuals as well as groups to overcome fears, conquer challenges and navigate transitions on the ride toward re-creating one’s personal and professional success. I wrote, “Rusty-n-Nikki: Doggies Lessons in Life and Love”   http://www.lovepetz.com/rusty-n-nikki-book/ to help reach out to children to teach them about tough life lessons through the eyes of a puppy.  I have utilized my own professional and personal life experience to help others move forward by providing personalized programs, solutions and support.

But I won’t stop there.  While doing this, I am going to school at Barry University to obtain my MSW (Master’s in Social Work) to be able to sit for boards and become a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker).  During this journey, divine intervention brought me to C.A.T. (Canine Assisted Therapy) and Jack and Mack (our Pomeranians) have become Therapy Dogs.

Our little trio was lucky enough to participate in a pilot program through Hospice by the Sea and C.A.T. to work with children who had suffered a loss of someone and to witness the magic of dogs with children.  That went so well that we will be participating in the next one in March.  In addition, “The Boys” and I will be part of the Pack Readers for 2nd Graders at Morikami Park School.

What my future holds is exciting and a bit daunting.  I am writing more books in the “Rusty –n- Nikki” series as well as finishing up my “Trail Ride Guide Book and Journal”, which is intended to help people become “Unstuck in the Gunk” so they can move forward with their lives. I will be incorporating animal intervention and pet therapy into my work and support the work that C.A.T. is doing.

I tell you this because during this transition, I will be consolidating my “Co-Creative Coaching Newsletter” and my “LovePetz Newsletter” as I realize my true work is to promote the magic of human and animal interactions to bring about the healing and forward movement to obtain success (whatever success may look like for an individual.)  No matter what I do – part of all proceeds are donated to animal organizations as always.

So I invite you to ride along on my journey and to use any tools that I can give you to be successful on your own life journey.  Being open to what is presented and trusting your instincts to make the right decisions and make the right twists and turns, can be exciting and daunting (like I said) but if we ride together – great things will happen!

See you on down the trail!
